City Climate Action
The City Climate Action Committee works to increase the democratic engagement of residents of King County in order to successfully implement their city’s climate action goals.

Communications
Economics And Taxation
Studies the macro-economic trends impacting our communities. Educates the public about the state, county and city budget and revenue issues. Reviews the fiscal impact of ballot issues before voters on League-supported programs and positions. Meetings are normally 9:30 AM the last Saturday of the month.

The Education Committee follows issues related to public education from pre-K to 12th grade, and normally meets the third Saturday of the month at 11:00 AM. If you are interested in public schools, please join us!

This group tracks what is happening in city and county council meetings throughout King County.

We are developing strategies to assess, monitor and support local police reform efforts among King County law enforcement agencies, consistent with League positions.
