VOTER SERVICES

Voter Services helps people participate in elections through voter registration events, Get Out the Vote work, civic education, candidate forums and interviews, and election observation efforts.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership welcomes new members, maintains membership information, and hosts new member orientations to help members learn about LWVSKC and find ways to get involved.

YOUTH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

The Youth Committee engages middle school, high school, and young adult audiences through civic education, educational forums, and voter information, and partners with Girl Scout troops on their Democracy Badge. Learn more >

The Programs Committee identifies governmental and public policy issues for League study and action, helping members decide what the League learns about and works on next.

UNITE & RISE

The Unite & Rise Committee mobilizes members and the community to take nonviolent civic action in defense of democracy, with a focus on voter engagement, building an inclusive movement, and connecting national issues to local action.

ECONOMICS & TAXATION

The Economics & Taxation Committee studies taxation and public finance with the goal of educating League members and the public about the principles of sound tax policy. Learn more >

The Advocacy Committee is focused on defending democracy based on long established League positions that exist at the national, state and local King County levels.

EDUCATION

INVESTMENTS

Voter The Investment Committee meets twice a year to review LWVSKC's investment strategy, with a focus on responsible stewardship of the funds that support the League's work.
