Benefits of League Membership

Joining the League of Women Voters is a great way to get involved in your community and play an active role in democracy. As a member of the League, you will:

  • Belong to a nonpartisan, grassroots organization creating positive change

  • Gain experience in advocacy, public speaking, research, and more
  • Shape the policy decisions that affect your life

When you join your local League (LWVS-KC), you automatically join the League of Women Voters of Washington (LWVWA) and the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS). Membership is open to people 16 years of age and older.


Together League members are a powerful force working across the US to empower voters and defend democracy. We’d love to have you join us!
