About The Event - F.A.Q.

Back by popular demand is our very own Voices of Democracy gala!

LWVSKC's mission is to empower voters and defend democracy. Voices of Democracy is a cherished celebration and fundraiser where LWVSKC members, guests, and friends gather to honor and support those who do the great work of promoting democracy in our community. This year's event is hosted at the Sea Mar Event Hall and features an emcee, two keynote speakers, award presentations, live entertainment provided by a youth ensemble, while enjoying great food and mingling with fellow democracy advocates.

Where and when is the event?

Where:  Our event is taking place at the Sea Mar Museum of Chicano/a/Latino/a Culture, in the vibrant South Park District of Seattle.

When:  Wednesday, May 24, 2023, 5 PM - 7:30 PM.

Pre-Event Activity: You are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a free guided tour of the Sea Mar Museum. The tour includes a 35min documentary which is optional to the tour, entry included with event ticket. The Museum closes promptly at 5pm, so please allow enough time to explore.
