Seattle Port Commission and Ballot Issues Forum 7:30 p.m.
LWVSKC's First Hill Unit and Horizon House Residents' Council Election Forums Committee invite you to a Seattle Port Commission and Ballot Issues Forum.
"Seattle Port Commission candidates will be featured in the first Election Forum of the fall election season. Six candidates are vying for three positions in the November General Election. Three of the candidates are incumbents and three are the challengers. Sam Sperry will be the moderator for the Forum. The Port plays a major role in the economy of the Central Puget Sound area, which includes operating Sea-Tac Airport that provides a valuable service for all of us and is one of the fastest growing airports in the U.S. In addition, the Commission is responsible for our seaport and a wide range of other economic activities, including the cruise terminals, marinas, commercial real estate and waterfront parks."
