King County Council 101
The LWVSKC is hosting a King County Council 101 for those interested in volunteering for the League’s Observer Corps.
When: September 21, 2023 at 12:00 noon
Where: Virtual via Zoom
Jeff Muhm, Chief Policy Officer, King County Council will provide an overview of the County Council and address your questions. Jeff leads the Council’s team of non-partisan analysts and committee assistants to provide unbiased and neutral analysis of legislation under Council consideration. He has over 20 years of experience working on public policy issues in Washington state at the city, county and state levels.
Sarah Haeger and Grace Sanderson from the League of Women Voters will be on-hand to address questions and provide more guidance about how League members can volunteer for the Observer Corps.
